Colour Matching Policy

1. Colour Specification: Exact colour codes and names must be provided at the time of ordering. Production will not begin until this information is confirmed in writing.

2. Paint Formulation: Our finishes are specially formulated by Remmers Germany and tinted by Indu-Coat/Elmbridge for bespoke timber goods. Please note, customers will not receive the actual brand-name product (e.g., Farrow & Ball). Instead, we provide our high-quality version of the specified colour.

3. Manufacturer Variance: Colours with the same name can vary between brands (e.g., Farrow & Ball vs. Dulux). Shade discrepancies within batches are industry-standard.

4. Colour Tolerance: Our colour matching adheres to a tolerance measured by visual comparison and standard industry practices. Variations within a delta-E (ΔE) value of ≤ 6.0 are considered acceptable. While minor differences may be noticeable in certain lighting conditions, they remain within an industry-accepted range for bespoke finishes.

5. Liability Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee exact matches to previous work due to manufacturer and batch variations. Ordering all components together ensures better consistency.

6. Historical Matches: Previous finishes will not be matched unless specifically requested at the time of ordering.

7. Customer Responsibility: Changes to colour specifications after confirmation may result in additional charges and delays.

This policy ensures realistic expectations for bespoke timber finishes while maintaining transparency and industry compliance. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
